    Daring, modern, and stylish, [Love On Terrace] is a sex positive feminist platform based in Shanghai created by Juliet (Wenjing) Peng in 2018. Inspired by a feminist reading of the iconic balcony scene in Romeo & Juliet, the name of our platform – [Love On Terrace] represents an open yet safe realm for women to explore their sexualities and desires. While encouraging women to embrace the world outside, we also wish to create a sanctuary for them to cultivate the interiority, to gain autonomy, improve self-awareness, and find their true self-worth through themselves. To achieve this, we rely on two pillars of operations to communicate with our customers: apparel and fine arts.

ART PROGRAMS

With our own gallery space in M50, one of the most visited creative parks in Shanghai, we curated seasonal art exhibitions to challenge the social mystification and stigmatization of sexuality through elevating sexual related themes in a fine art context.
